We chose this hotel based on review on Booked.net and we liked it very much. Before arrival the owners sent us a map with direction to the hotel (also in Thai for a taxi driver) so we did not have any troubles finding the place. Owners speak very good English, which helps a lot. They were very friendly and also helpful (made a note for us in Thai that we are vegetarians and do not eat any meat, only rice, noodle and vegetables. This note was useful for us during our 3 week travelling around Thailand). Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Very good value for money (also compared to other hotels in Thailand where we stayed). We definitely do recommend this place!

The staff is just perfect, on the peaceful place in the street with the local people.

The staff working there is extremely helpful ! Rooms are big and clean
It is a little too far from the main Bangkok attractions especially considering the traffic in the city. Hard to find first time, even with a taxi.

Everything,.... nice people, who helped us with every question we had ! It's a quiet place, far from the Khao San Road. It's good for family, because they have outside space enough for the kids, there is no traffic at all. Was nice to wake up and hear the birds singing :-) From there its a 10 Minute walk to the boat pier, from there you get everywhere ! Also 10 Minute walk to the bus station to Victoria Monument, from there you get the trains to the Shopping Malls/ City Center ! Around the corner is the Bangkok Riverside Hotel,.from there is easy to catch a taxi ! All in all, it,s a good place to stay !!!
Only if you wanna watch TV, there are no international channels !

Staff was friendly and helpful; the room is spacious and clean. The apartments are in an interesting neighbourhood, not touristic at all. It's a bit far from the modern city centre (Siam square) but it's really close to the boat station which is an ideal way to visit the city attractions.
Breakfast is a bit poor.

We had a lovely stay at VareeVara Apartment. The room was very spacious and clean. Each morning we got 2 bottles of water delivered to the room and there was free coffee and biscuits available in the morning. The girl on reception couldn't have been more helpful, she had great knowledge of the local transport and even dropped us out to the main street to get a taxi on our departure. I would definately stay here again.

Took the taxi driver some time to find, but only because he was being all cocky and didn't want to read the directions. The bed is massive, the flat screen awesome, free wifi tea , coffee and cookies and all for under £10... Brilliant

The lady was very nice, the room very clean.
It's very noisy and the walls/doors are paper thin.

The staff in Varee Vara was very friendly and heedful. We have us felt comfortable in the nice room. The room is for two people great enough for relaxing, sleeping, watch TV and something more and also the bathroom with shower outdoor is clean and practicable. Outside can you sit in the coffe corner, and read a newspaper and drink a coffee, tea or chocolate. We have enjoyed our days in Varee Vara, and for other people, which some days spend in Thonburi, we can recommend this appartment hotel.

The neighbourhood was no good since there were car repair services around. Besides the hotel was quite away from city center.

The "reception" was very helpful and given us good tips like the orange bout bus that cost 15 baht. It was really quiet and we got a good night sleep after the flight.
At the map it looks close to Khao San rd but it's quite far from any central location. Even the taxi driver took a lot of time to find it. The room was fine except 2 things: The mattress was stone hard and we got a visit of a roach, my wife really hate them
